I added professional training to my experience when I assumed the role of Deputy Head of Lighting at RADA in 1998 and later promoted to Head of Lighting. My role at RADA was to train the core TTA students in all aspects of theatre lighting as well as providing close tutorship to the students on the specialist Lighting and Lighting Design course.

At the end of my RADA tenure, I continued to offer training and workshops to all types of learner internationally. I have trained all ages and backgrounds in both the technical and creative arts.

I have designed and run workshops on specific lighting consoles and fixtures, led Lighting Vocabulary workshops for non-technical creatives, taught BTEC Event students, given 11 year olds their first taste of technical theatre and helped community projects bring the arts and its training to the UK provinces.

Having worked extensively with youth theatre groups in London, I have also provided apprenticeship style, on the job, training for budding technical teams and creatives. Internationally, I have delivered lighting workshops for the British council, The American University Beirut and Maqamat Dance in Lebanon.
